One of your pics turned up on my Twitter feed this morning. Malakoff School.
I had a nice ride across parts of Texas last weekend. Malakoff Elementary School, Malakoff, TX. Built by WPA 1940.

I would love to have walked around the building a bit to have a closer look. It really is a beautiful old building and still in use. However, school was in session, folks are skittish about strangers lurking about school buildings full of kids, can't blame them. So I kept my distance and grabbed one pic from the street and kept moving on.

Extraordinary weather today in the Netherlands. Around 20c is abnormal for end of October. Two up around our beautiful province today. No pictures again because I forgot as usual . Forests in fall are beautiful!

A couple nice November days. Not even a jacket liner needed. Yesterday Oregon, IL

Today Vermilion River and Starved Rock. Went to specifically ride this road among others. No luck.

That is a big flag. But I have to assume that car dealers up there, are like the ones down here. And down here most of the bigger dealerships have massive flags flying over their lots.

We just put for sale on ours. I see a big For Sale sign looming over us at the moment.

Yes, but everything is bigger in Texas, right? This was my grab over in the Moto Tag, so this is your chance to grab it with one of those dealership flags!

I've thought about it. One dealer in particular. The problem with getting the perfect picture of it, is that it would have to be taken from a fly-over ramp from one highway to another.

No requirement for perfect pictures. Any old shot will do...

Well not today, but Wednesday I rode up to Cerro Gordo ghost town. Eight miles, unpaved and ascends almost 4,000’ from the valley below to 8,200’. Riding this big girl up there is work. Got stuck once (until I turned of the TCS) also managed to drop it once on each side, both times at 0 MPH. The OEM side cases are tougher than they look, only some scratches and small dents.

He's had a real rough monsoon season, washed out that road twice, had to start from scratch both times. The fact you got up there at all is a good sign.
