Wow, i would be way too nervous to ride the s10 on snow like that. I can just imagine finding myself chit face on the ground quickly LOLMost paved roads were dry and snow free so I took the less traveled options.......
-5C and sunny. Thrilling day!

I get that a lot. It’s an Arlen Ness big brake kit. It works amazingly well despite its obviously over sized state. 13” is a bit over kill. I was concerned it would’ve been grabby but it’s not.^^ Is that a front brake rotor off a Buell?
that is the front end from a 78 rs. Complete forks, wheels, and internals. The most questioned is the master cylinder on the handle bars.^^ and again, the front brake. My 75/6 had only single disc.
Hmmmm....so, what y'all mean "it busted off"??Hooked the S10 up to a car battery and it busted off so time for a pic

OK thanks for the clarity. It wouldn’t start been trying for a few days, so hook it up to the car battery and after about 3 rotations it started. Note to self: pack jumper cables
I think the big issue is the battery they chose. It’s really tiny compared to my other bikes. I’ll upgrade when this one goes bad.Beautiful. . . . but, you're still crazy. I'm thinking that 11.5:1 compression ratio doesn't like cold weather, and a small battery.
Although they (Yamaha) don't publish it, all starter motors have limitations.OK thanks for the clarity.
I have read where its OK to "boost" or jump a motorcycle using a car battery, just sure the car is NOT running.

I didn’t just keep cranking on it, the real issue was a slow turn over due to the cold. Hook it up to a real battery and it turns over faster which started the bike with 3 revolutions. Which is about 3-5 seconds. No harm no foul. After idling for a bit it restarted fine. Just too cold was all.Although they (Yamaha) don't publish it, all starter motors have limitations.
If the bike, car or whatever won't start then do not keep trying until the starter motor overheats and dies.
I flew airplanes for a living and all airplane handbooks publish limitations on the starter motors. It goes like this, crank the engine for 30 seconds, allow the starter motor to cool for 60 seconds, try again, a 30 -/- 60 seconds start/cool...
If it don't start, it ain't gonna start!!

Well, I'm pleased to hear your bike started with some additional amperage.I didn’t just keep cranking on it, the real issue was a slow turn over due to the cold.
