If I didn't list your option, please reply to the thread. Just picked some names of places I saw mentioned the most in the main thread. Just trying to get a sense where folk are, as we make our plans. We are thinking somewhere downtown ourselves.

EDIT:

I'll keep the running total updated here in the first post.

Mountain Ridge = 2
Edgewater = 3
Robert Service Campground = 1
Undecided = 3 (includes Sharon and I)

Mountain Ridge Motel & RV Park - next to Yukon Yamaha - Google Maps is incorrect. Use Street View and you can see it.

I'm going to try for the campground but I don't have reservations. If it is full I'll pitch the tent at Rem's place.

Gonna look for a place with trees for the hammock, shower , water, and terlit. Rems maybe? Robert Service if I can get a spot and can get the bike near the spot. There are a few other campgrounds near it seems that may be inviting.

I spoke with Robert Service Campground today. I was informed that motorcycles are permitted into the tent sites. Showers are $1.00/5 min. There is electricity somewhere to recharge cell phones and such, but I think no electricity at the tent sites. It sounds very nice with the Yukon River, the bridge to the park, and trees. I have heard of concerns for security of belongings there. You would need to ask them about a hammock. Sounds doubtful.

We might spend a night or two there and a night or two in a hotel as well.

Well, you guys should come up and check out my place if you're concerned, or can't find space, or just do it right off. You may not like it, but I think you will. Lots of room, trees, electricity, hose coming right off the hydrant, sauna, fire pit, mosquito tent, two garages, you can probably even sneak a shower, and you can pee almost anywhere you want to. It's about 12 minutes from downtown. Remville. R ::008:: If anyone wants directions, just email me. hollywolly1@mac.com

May take you up on that! We'll see how the weather is and how we are doing with the camping.
