I replaced the basket long ago, used all the other oem parts. I was one of the lucky few that got in on the international pricing error. I wanted the basket for it's increased mass. To me it changed the engine manners a pretty large amount. I had no unusual vibration or any complaint. If the new basket hadn't had the extra mass I don't think I would have gotten it.
Before you do anything like changing clutch baskets and stuff, do the minimum -- change your Clutch Fluid AND your oil -- I've had the same issue and this resolved it for me.
I have a 2012 and it does a bit of jerking when I start at this time . Its a bit more chilly outside and it have Motul 10w40 also . The oil is almost due to be changed at 6400km...In my opinion it mostly related to used oil...
Use Yamaha 10W-40 Full Synthetic engine oil ,flush clutch fluid (and brakes, why not) ,upgrade to Gen 2 Primary Drive clutch basket and some new friction plates(or full clutch kit ) .
Not cheap to do ,but it worked for me .

Thanks, when you say flush clutch fluid, how did you do it? I being thinking on doing the upgrade primary drive clutch basket but being in Mexico it is very expensive! I got 15-W40 Syntetic Motul oil and had some improvement, it happens during the first 30 sec after a cold start then is managable.
Have a great day!
