. . . . but my first ride was a Honda ATC 90. Dad picked it up from one of his firefighter coworkers when I was 14, and my brother and I shared it. . . .
Did he not like y'all? :D Those thing were dangerous, or could be depending how they were ridden.

Embarrassing.

My first bike (if it counts ) was a 1964 Lambretta Cento bought in 1970.

Wish I had it now for the reg number (often sold for silly prices in the UK) 8624 ED

Bought it for £30, kept it 8 months, past my test on it and sold it for £35

Then got my first real bike...a 1968 Honda CD175!

Technically my first bike was a Chaparral 80, but it literally never ran for more than 10 minutes and went back to the seller.

My real first bike was a KE100 (or G5). In the summer I would wake up, get on my bike, ride all day, home for dinner, repeat... Learned so much from this bike.

Still my wheelie style today. My helmets fit better now.

My first was what I believe was a 1964 Yamaha 50cc. It was a stepthrough design kind of like a womens bicycle. Lot of fun, but already pretty beat by the time I got it in 1970. In 1971 I got a brand new purple Yamaha HT1, 90cc enduro. That was great, and later got 175,250,400cc versions. I still dream of those old Yamaha enduros. Got my Yamaha WR250R in 2008 trying to go back to the fun, but no fun at all with that thing. First street bike was a 1978 Kawasaki KZ650 I got new and still have sitting with all the rest of my old Kawasaki street bikes.

My first motorized vehicle was a 78 ATC 90. I rode the wheels off of it. I wanted a Kawasaki KD80. We had a Trail 90 that I rode as well. It wasn’t a “cool” bike among my peers. It got nicknamed “toilet seat 90” by my friends.

My first street bike was an 84 Honda Shadow700. With my buddy that loved to ride on the back7DCB9048-AE9C-4DF7-860E-5B5980F86A35.jpeg

The very first motorcycle I actually owned was a 1966 Honda CB160, the previous owner had repainted it red so I’m not sure what color it was when new. I did eventually have to have the engine overhauled but for all the crazy crap I put it through it was very reliable. Yes mine had the high scrambler pipes like the one in this picture.
My next bike was a 2 stroke twin cylinder Yamaha 350 and it was probably the most troublesome bike I ever owned.
Number 3 was a Yamaha 650 that I bought brandnew and it was extremely Reliable, one of my brothers still owns it.
Number 4 was a 1000 Kawasaki LTD , had lots of fun with it , it had a positive neutral finder meaning that if the bike wasn’t rolling you couldn’t shift past neutral and I loved that feature.
Number 5 was a brandnew Honda V65 another very reliable bike that I put 50,000 trouble free miles on.
The next 5 bikes were all six cylinder Honda Goldwings and I have put about 800,000 miles on those things with very few problems except for killing 5 deer.
My first Tenere was a 2013 that I bought to ride to Prudehoe Bay Alaska, the original plan was to try and sell it after the trip but turned out I enjoyed it more than expected so kept it until 2 years ago when I traded it for a brandnew 2018 Tenere ES mainly because I wanted cruise control, after riding Goldwings for so many years that were equipped with cruise I hated not having it on the Tenere.

15 yrs old I bought my first full size bike 1972 CT2 175 $700 cash.. This is not it. Road it home. 90 miles. Bent 3 swingarms and welded the frame a few times. Broke almost everything you can break on it. Finally broke the rod and junked it. I could ride a passenger on the rack. Still packing scars from that bad boy.1604128412853.png
