Adde the new passenger lowering brakets for swimbo. As opposed to the old ones, these can be set in different positions.

I like the concept, but looks like there could be a conflict/interference with the peg and the "driver's" leg? And maybe access to the side/center stand(s)?

That's why I opted for the swiveling one. No conflict with the rider's foot (angle of the picture shows them a bit weird) but I had to put it a little back afterwards for better access to center stand.

if anyone in the UK has gone with the full arrow system & has an OEM set of headers kicking about give me a shout

Last evening, so forgive my tardiness. Installed waterproof rear box bolted to Altrider rear rack. I was going to design and build a quick release system. Even bought the 1/4" ABS to craft it. After cardboard templates and lots of measurements, I figured, "Just bolt that sucker on there!" Which I did. 3 bolts I had on hand, and used the ABS plate for strength in the bottom of the box. I'll add slightly longer SS bolts and washers and aircraft nuts and, voila, cheap top box. Total cost, $60.

Also installed highway pegs that were in a bag in the pannier when I acquired the bike. Not sure of the brand, but it's pretty sturdy kit. Nice adjustability, too.

what happened to that front? odd wear/cupping not sure fully what that is. Looks like you got great milage out of it but still got well before the wear bars on it.
That has happened to most users of the Trialmax Mission after 9k miles due to hard braking. I demo hard braking at least 4 times a week while teaching MSF classes. Did not impact the feel of the steering though.

On the trailmax thread I stated they had still meat on them, but was changing them to recover their original off-road feel. I went for a 50 miles BRD ride and they were sliding more than I wanted them to, still controllable and fun, but I almost overshot a corner due to lateral skidding, they recover traction but still was a close call. Speed might also had contributed. :p

Was considering buying a set of Trailmax Missions but they seem to be out of stock everywhere
Ya I'm having a hard time finding them also. Heading to the Yukon on July 2nd for couple weeks and was hoping on installing some tarmac more friendly tires on the fat girl but no go. Ended up with another set of Mitas E07, which I do like but not as friendly on tarmac to the Trailmax Mission.

Wound up buying a rear Metzler Tourance from Dennis Kirk, actually ordered two the total came to $297.27 which was quite a bit cheaper than any other place and most places didn’t have any in stock. Already have Tourance on front so it will be nice to have a matched set. Ordered late Wednesday night and the tires delivered Thursday afternoon. Getting the Tenere ready for our second attempt at Tuktoyaktuk

Shortly after placing the order I noticed Revzilla did have some Dunlop TrailMax Missions in stock for a crazy high price.

so I treated the big girl with well deserved new oils, filters, tires, spark plugs, valve clearance check, lubed swingarm and linkage bearings, brake fluid, coolant, fork oil, final drive oil, steering stem service and even cleaned a few areas.

I had bought a new cam chain, anticipating replacing it when the cams were out anyway but all the valves were in spec and as difficult as it is to see the cam timing marks, it appears that the original chain has very little wear so I left it alone for now.

First time that I've noticed. The Canadian, and US screens are opposite. Mine has air temp on top, and mileage on the bottom. And coolant temp in the middle.

Display is just configured differently by the owner. I have my Tenere and FJR screens configured the same...bi-focals and CRS make this a necessity. ;)

Got a couple sets of brake pads for cheap cheap. Thank you amazon warehouse and thank you to whoever returned them. They're still ridged, not mounted, perfect condition.
