Whose toolbox ya got on there? And are those Bumot racks?
Bumot and yes, with Bumot Xtremada panniers in place of my usual Defenders.

Credit where credit is due. Jason over at ADV Motorrad worked with me every step of the way, including making sure I got the right set, had racks already, etc. He also promised me a delivery date at the end of this week, when he knew they were on their way from Bulgaria. I told him not to rush in turning them around for me, I leave for my trip Thursday in the wee hours of the AM, so they wouldn't be here in time. He turned them around over the weekend and got them to me today so I can take them on my trip. That's some great customer service, from beginning to end.

Jason is a good dude. His operation is a few miles from me in NY, I've had the chance to meet him personally.

A few small tweaks...

1- wired on a 2006 GSXR left hand control to gain 4-way flasher and flash to pass. almost direct wire on, and most of the wiring colors match :)
2- Changed out to manual CCT (2012 SuperT with 50,000miles (80,000kms) and it was starting to sound like ball bearings under the clutch cover. my autoCCT plunger was pitched slightly off kilter and seized into the bore, failure was imminent.
3-303protectant on all the plastic, claybar and wax all the paint.

Changed my oil and filter today after 7,500 miles. Also lubed the shifter. Now I need to get on my 5,000 mile intervals. Next change is oil, no filter, and final drive oil change. T6 10w40...or was it 15w40, I cant remember now. A mind is a terrible thing to waste. Did not have to remove the AltRider skid plate.

Packed for a trip out to Missouri that starts at 4am tomorrow.

and let me state unequivocally, that is packed to the brim with comfort items, a chair, a camp table, a cpap, a big ass battery bank for it, my big solar panel and a big bluetooth speaker, along with food, clothes, and what I need to hammock it out.

It could LITERALLY be half of that, but it's not because fuck it, I gotta learn my lessons by doing

After coming close to running out of gas in the Texas panhandle on the way to Custer I decided I needed extra fuel . Found this 2.5 liter container and carrier on the Givi accessories page . Contemplating added one to the other side .

Actually, I didn't do it today. It was a couple of years ago; explaining the fade. But, painting the control buttons reminded me. I did it as an experiment, liked it, so I left it. I took some pinstriping I had for something. I put it on the inside of the windshield. Once again, very easy to color match to the bike.

A couple weeks ago, I traded my ‘15 ES on a ‘19 ES. They moved most of my farkles over, but there were a few that didn’t move. I spent today rectifying that. I added a new tank bag (my old one has ripped), wired up aux lights and a Skene controller, removed the Helibar risers that were on the bike, and and added mirror extensions. I also fabbed up a kickstand extension for the adjustable kickstand the previous owner had installed so I can catch it with my heel easier. Not much left to do now to get it fully equipped the way I like it.

. . . . added mirror extensions. . . .
What is the issue(s) that everybody has with the Gen II OE mirrors? I can see from two feet to two miles behind me. Vibration free. And, I'm a large person. Mine are positioned so I see the very edge of my arms for reference to how close other traffic is. Inquiring minds want to know. Or, at least this one.

Oddly enough, the mirror extensions reduce helmet buffeting. I don’t know why, but it works. I also like my mirrors a little bit higher up.
