Today everything aligned just right and I got my wife to go on a good ride, roughly 50 miles of dirt roads and about 65 paved. It’s the first time she has ridden on the new to us Corbin seat. She said it is a wonderful improvement over the stock pillion seat. View attachment 66381
A piece of plywood would probably be an improvement over OEM.

What do you mean they outlawed riding there? By there were are you talking about. That is not constitutional! You are still an American Citizen!
Agree 100%. Sounds like an over extreme inaccurate interpretation of the stay home order. I have friends in Colorado that are still riding. Unless there’s a clause that specifically prohibits riding your motorcycle I would go ride. If there is such an order I would notify the AMA, lodge a legal complaint and ignore it!

I kinda like the OEM seat off road. It’s grippy, and it’s not leather. And so easy to swap out. It’s easy to wash. But for long time in the saddle it’s not so great.

Yup,
I live in Denver area and have not heard of anything, in any order so far that outlaws riding.....................yup, still riding.
Also still working..............It's great to hear that us essential tax-paying workers are now considered "illegal Mexicans"

Sounds like someone needs to just curl up in the corner and go to sheep for the next 5 or 10 years.............

Wow, that list of issues you gave sure sounded like a lot more than one misfiring spark plug.

Loose in what way? Just trying to picture it in my mind.
Coil lead perhaps? I've done that, couldn't have clicked it in properly, the bike started and ran fine for a while then the lead came apart, it was a pig to start and when I got it going it ran like a dog.

I moved back the Givi 46 top case by and inch and a half for the wife. It makes a lot of difference for her and it didn’t cost me anything other than a cutting board.

Ah right, that makes sense. I was trying to understand how a coil stick could work loose!

Since my accident the other day the throttle on the bike has been a bit stiff once past about half way. ?Been racking my head what would cause it. Return off throttle was fine, but just a soft wall when applying requiring more twist pressure.

Life is hard, its harder when you are dumb. Must have twisted the KAO just right to make it have slight resistance on application but return fine only took me 2 days to figure it out!

I have a KAOKO throttle lock as well on my S10. Occasionally with my kind of large hand while riding I accidentally slightly roll the KAOKO up or down which causes stiff resistance
with the throttle grip. Whenever I am stopped at a red light or at real low speeds I always double check the KAOKO is in the loose/neutral position which is right in the middle.

In the 16,000 miles I've had the bike, I've used it 4 times (came with it not something I bought). So its always rolled as far forward as it can get, never even entered my mind it even existed.

Do you use yours much? Other than one 600 mile day using it for 2 min arm shake out sessions, just scares the heck out of me to even consider it in any type of traffic even light interstate.

I had the Excel versus the Kaoko, but same principle. I kept a slight amount of tension on it, so that it would not require as much wrist action to maintain speed, even in traffic, but not so much that rolling off the throttle was difficult. The Excel has a lever that allowed for the stronger hold for longer interstate stretches.

When I bought my '13 used it also came with the KAOKO. I have only used it a handful of times when I was on a relatively empty highway.
No chance of me using it around the Metro NY area highways, parkways or expressways.
