When to hollywood then mailbu for a good 3 hour ride. Also finished installing my all in one aux rear light kit. Changed the suspension setting on front forks but still cant get to float over bumps like i had before 6 months. I hasnt been the same with fork new seals, oil and shims. Still debating switching my shad 40 top case from my fz09 to my st. On side note the cashier was acting weird when I was paying for something. Also traffic is much less, but also got hit 2 twice and with a couple of drivers tail gating me. Also I noticed the 2 sets of aux lights from piaa have made a difference in being noticeable. I have used my new low horn and man what a difference i can even hear it even at 65 mph.

600 mile service on my new '18. Fresh oil, filter and final, spokes are all tight, nothing else loose that I can find and farkling is almost complete. Looking forward to a couple hundred miles on Saturday before the PNWet returns to normal...

Hmm. Where are you... hope your climate is better than ours.
Hint...I'm in southern Canada, still cold, however this is early spring, and I have been riding about five times. It's cold, 5 - 10 C. Okay...37 F to 53 F.
Looking forward to a great riding season, usually from May until late October.
Often, we get temperatures from 15 to 35C!
I know, we're nutz to live up here, but unfortunately we don't have any options

Been so busy that instead of doing my own valves, I took the bike to a shop last week. The bike is now stuck.

Those look to be for a gen 1. Did you have to trim them to fit?
yes in the very last picture you can see the deflector has been shortened, the front part with the hole has been cut off, I did the same thing with my first generation deflectors to make them fit my new 2018, it’s actually very easy to do. I used a air operated cutoff wheel from Harbor Freight.

Installed the DS Bike Protection Toolbox. Then rode 250 miles of some exploratory BCDR routes between Todo Santos and Punta Conejo and a few sections in Norther Baja along the coast.
It held solid and even with it sitting so low on the brackets it doesn't hit the caliper on full compression. I'll move it up higher though. I can see if it's this low AND it gets bent inwards it could hit on full compression.

I like that. I'm ass-summing that the OE boxes fit over it just fine? And, were there any issues with the order/arrival of the box?
Yes - the boxes fit perfectly with the tool box installed. I had no issues with my order from DS. There is another participant here on the forums that ordered shortly after I did and has not received his order. In his recent communications with DS they indicated that industrial shutdown is still going. They have his order and are waiting to go back to work. It's solid!!

I love the DS Tool-Box, and YES the factory Yamaha Panniers fit fine with it installed.

I will be selling mine used very soon.
Unfortunately the side-racks I am buying will not fit with the DS Tool-box...........
