Diff Fluid change this evening.

Fluid was pretty dark. (has 9085-miles on the bike) Previous owner said he did not change it. Not sure if the first owner ever did?

There was a slight amount of metal on the magnetic drain plug.

"Shaft" Drive! :p

This is what I used to put back in.

IMG_3578.JPG

Only used this much till it was dribbling out of the fill-hole. I could do two more diff fluid changes with this one bottle!

I'm satisfied.......................Now I know for sure when the fluid was changed last!

Yeah only uses 200mls. I think a lot of riders change with every oil change.

Curious as to what you think of the 70s after you get to ride them a bit both on the pavement and whatever off the pavement riding you do.
I am considering these tires as I need new tires soon but I have read and heard mixed reviews of them.
I couldn't wait to get the TKC70s off my bike till selling the bike with them.

I have a riding buddy, that tried these tire, he said not good on gravel road, where there is small stone on top of hard gravel.
It feels like it is kind of "rolling" . Guess it is because of the middle with continues rubber..

getting ready to fit this.
Also very interested in the result, and what model (fully adjustable? rebound, preload and compression)

Installed my new Garmin 595 onto my existing mount. Hangs a little low (just like my 550 did)so may need to make something up to lift it a little so I can read the top line of the bike's dash.

Looking forward to trying out all the nifty features :)

Very nice screen on this GPS.
And most importent, it is not to slow to "flip" screen when turning. (could be faster, but have seen much slower GPS)

I was at Walmart the other day and they had these LED light bars for $30

They looked decent so I decided to take a chance
They also had a wire harness for $10 that included a switch, fuse, and relay

I made a mounting bracket from a piece of 2 x 1/8 aluminum flat bar I bought a Tractor Supply

Here is the mounted light. It fits nicely. I used the Aux light circuit provided on the Tenere

While this light does not have the performance as lights such as the Baja Designs or Rigid Industries it does provide good output
I had to angle it downward to prevent blinding oncoming drivers
Here is the light bar only

This is with the headlights. I have the Osram Night Breakers. Brighter than stock but not LED.

I’ve missed something......where is this Aux Light Circuit provided by Yamaha??

I’ve mounted lights but used my own wiring and relay.

wow your very nicely mounted $30 Walmart light looks like it was made for the Tenere ! The only drawback is the cancer warning listed on the Walmart website. https://www.walmart.com/ip/Auto-Drive-9-Inch-LED-Combo-Bar-Light/831095431
