Finally pulled the ECU and mailed it off to Anthony. Won't be riding for a while any way...
I'll get to test it in January in AZ. Thanks to those who posted how to remove it!

Probably flying in the face of popular opinion with this one, but I fitted four full size seat base bumpers to replace the cut down versions the previous owner did. Yes, it alters the angle but more importantly for me is the improved leg room. Coupled to the Airhawk and sheep's ass seat cover I now have a faintly ridiculous looking but highly comfortable saddle...

at 145,000km, I had the front bearings and seals changed. So at 150,000km, even thought the rear wheel bearings were still good, I thought it wise to change them too.

The right rear wheel bearing on my previous 2013 Tenere went out at 45,000 miles, happened on a Friday and I spent 6 nights in a motel waiting for new bearings, I now carry a spare set of rear wheel bearings.

I mounted my tire pressure display to the accessory bar beside my GPS. I also mounted a bottle holder the the crash bars. It is for a bicycle but should work well. I tilted it slightly to the outside to leave room for removing the panel. If it doesn't clear it is only one screw to remove the mount. It comes with plastic inserts to fit different size bars. Aluminum construction for both the mount and the holder. I used a dab of Loctite to make sure it doesn't vibrate loose. The nice thing with these holders is energy drink bottles are sized to fit them. When I am on a trip I usually pick one up when I gas up. I also have a stainless thermos bottle that fits it perfectly.IMG_3463.jpegIMG_3464.jpegIMG_3465.jpegIMG_3466.jpeg

Man, that sux. I've got 45000 on mine now. Hmmm, I thought they would last a lot longer than that.

I had over 100k on mine w/o issue, (2012 S10). Put 149,960 on my original FJR wheel bearings before the front's went. I sent Yamaha a scathing email detailing my disappointment! ;) I told them I fully expected 150k miles. What junk!!
