10000 miles since the last air filter change, so tank up and airbox out to check. Filter was surprisingly dirty so a new one has been fitted. There was also only a very light film of oil in there, however I did empty the half filled catch thingy a while back. I only ride on tarmac, I really expected the old filter to be in better condition.

Checked the plug wells whilst the airbox was out. All nice and dry.

Added the SWMotech crash bars last night. Only a little cursing to get any purchase on the engine bolt holes and only needed two beers. Today, I'm tackling the Touratech pannier racks. Looks straight forward, but thankfully I've got a fee beers still in the fridge.

Thanks for the picture, This is the first time I’ve seen one of those, my shoes are size 13 but fortunately I’ve never had any shifting issues, but I have been considering a bigger foot brake pedal.

Changed the shifter for the Wunderlich adjustable. Good for us Bigfoot types. Note, this is the link for europe.
Also the one pictured on the website is not this one, but the part number is accurate.

I was pleasently suprised that the Euro price (not including pp) was about 30% cheaper than $U.S. It's usualy around the same, or more.

Mine is out of warranty now so need for a dealer service so I changed the oil, filter, diff oil, flushed the brake and clutch fluid for fresh and cycled the ABS pump. When the weather gets really crap I'll take it off the road and will pull the coils and grease around them (not looking forward to that job!)

Just done mine, after 10k miles since the last plug change, all plug wells were dry. It's a straightforward job until you get to that hose underneath the airbox, putting that back in place is a , best have the Samaritans on standby for that bit! A set of extra long, long nose pliers helps.

Thanks for the heads up Boris, I'll have the long pliers and a stiff drink ready as an incentive for when it's completed!
