Damn! what happened? As I was reading your update, I was thinking you would have basically a brand new bike, but your story had a sad ending! :'(
Heal up quick!
Thanks Terminus,

I left last week friday to "Repo" an Ex's SUV I signed for (she thought she could stop paying after she moved to AZ from CO) With the advice from the local sheriff he gave me permission to take the vehicle. So i drove from Denver to Albuquerque to pick up my plastics then off to Pine top, picked up the SUV and came back.

I was taking the SUV off the car dolly and long story short, my hand got pinned between the ramp and the tarmac and broke my wrist as well as my radius. Dr said surgery is not needed at this time so thats good tho... Could have been a lot worse.

No oil filter issues. Yes its longer to fit around the oil filter. It weighs a lot, but that's the trade off I'm willing to take for ultimate protection. The heat tape from TermoTec removed about 70% of the radiant heat from the head pipes. I had it running until the fan came on and while it was running I can touch the pipe with my bare hands. You need about 75 feet of their 1 inch wide lava wrap in order to cover it all. Here are some pictures for an update....
What tires are you running?

Yesterday, I picked it up after having the following done: changed spark plugs, front and rear brake fluid changed, clutch fluid changed, oil and filter changed, final drive gear oil changed, flushed and replaced radiator fluid, changed the fork oil, changed front and rear brake pads, replaced steering head bearings and races, checked spokes/re-torqued, put some sealant on the swing arm plug, replaced front tire with a new Mitas E-07 Dakar, and replaced battery with a YTZ14S.

Today, I installed an Altrider water pump guard, installed the Excel Throttle Control, and lubed the shift pedal bolt.

Over the Last week I ordered many goodies for my S10,

1) I got some blue plastics from a member on here (Tank, Side pices and front mud guard). My white tank was badly scratched and dented so I decided to change the color to blue.
2) KnN air filter
3) Four new NGK plugs
4) Hi-Filtro oil filter
5) Silkolene Pro 10W-40 Full Synthetic Engine oil
6) Bel-Ray 80W hypoid gear oil
7) Flashed ECU
8) Arrow Racing headers fresh from Italy
9) Yoshimura RS4 slip on
10) Taller little wider Puig dark smoke windshield
11) Some Yamaha "ears" for wind protection.
12) SoloBox Top box - Not Shipped yet
13) Touratech Explorer HP rear coil over - Not Shipped yet

I have pictures (38 of them) at the link I will share here shortly. Its pictures I took during the install. I broke my wrist and the same arms, arm. So needless to say, I have not even test ridden the bike yet but it does sound amazingly pissed off.

There is a picture of a coiled bunch of wire and fuel hose, that is my fuel transfer pump I built. I made it so it would run of the bikes batter tender connection with a N\O push button switch you need to push to close the circuit to run the pump. I use this ti fill my bike from gas cans in the garage or to empty my white tank to install the new one...lol

Hope you enjoy.

Today I installed the NuShield Triple A Anti-glare screen protector. I don't know about anyone else but I get really bad glare off the instrument screen in the afternoons. I am hoping this anti-glare protector eliminates all the glare and reflections.

Yes, the glare can be quite bad at times. Please let us know how it works.

I'm interested, I hate that glare.

I replaced the rear tire yesterday, which required beating the axle out with a mallet, block of wood, and lots of penetrant. Once the axle was out, it and the other parts were thick with white corrosion. This is the hazard for being regularly in the rain, doing stream crossings, and catching some salty run-off over the winter. I've never seen it this bad or had to beat the axle out.

Story and fix are here: http://www.yamahasupertenere.com/index.php?topic=5275.new#new
