It's pouring down rain here in Oklahoma so all I've done today is stare at my week and a half old Tenere. The day before yesterday I did her first 600?mile service.

I'm just east of you, and you're right...lots of rain!

Wish we had joined you Buelligan but my buddy just wouldn't hit the snow. We went south and had a thousand mile ride. Hope to catch you for a ride soon.

Nothing major, but it amounted to something.....a month or so ago I'd mounted a set of Oxford Adventure heated grips. Awhile later, I noticed that the left grip was a bit loose (I'd used the grip glue supplied with the grips). Removed the left grip and used my trusty hair spray. Its on tight now!

Flew back up to Indianapolis this morning, where I had left my rig while I hooked em home for a week.

Picked up where I left off, finding a sweet spot for a week or so. Even found a natural hill to back up to and fetch my bike all alone. Worked perfect!
Just realized this is Indy 500 week. Might have to sniff around for tickets while I "work" at the Indy office.

Snake, this Sunday is also the Springfield (IL) Mile, one of the best flat track races in the USA. Just 3 hours from Indy. At least one team is supposed to be running their new FZ 07 engined miler.

Took the seat cover off, shaped the foam with the angle grinder , redressed it and put the cover back on. Now I can get my little legs down easier. Also over sprayed the exhaust cover to black.

Your not the first! I did it too! Its a Big Ride, Galena Ill. to Superior Wi. mostly back roads and ATV trails.
We're headed from there on some of Cannonshots gps routes across the UP.
Wish I could make the Springfield Mile but I've seen it a number of times and can't pass up a look at the TWAT!

Yea, Fred has graciously offered me a few choices that should guarantee a great time. (The best folks ride Teneres!)
If possible, I'll see the TT too.


My only obstacle is I started a job here in Indy that I can't leave undone. That wouldn't be an issue except my Tenere was running on 1 cylinder this morning. Just got it sorted. Turned the KOA picnic table into my workbench. Lol

Warranty work can suck sometimes. This is not the worst since EricV case was more than 4 months for the same issue.

Today I spent about 3 hours changing engine and final drive oil, oil filter, and wiping her down from our weekend ride at Cleghorn. 943 total miles. She's all ready until that 6,000 mi mark.
