Well that sucks. Last winter I bought the only 8gals wally had on the shelves out of that concern. You'll find something good to get by.Getting ready to do my oil change and the Rotella T6 I normally use is unobtanium. Now there's an oil shortage too, wth?
Nail on the head.. . . . Oil does seem to be a personal opinion thing, . . . .
True for certain, but who's who Thursday.a lot of store brands are just relabeled name brands.
Which is why I stick to OE Yamalube. Their bike, their brand.True for certain, but who's who Thursday.
Project Farm……….that’ll end up as hours on YT. Some interesting stuff on there though.Check out project farm on YouTube that guy does some cool tests. Oil Super Bowl is the finale of his overall oil testing.
Oil does seem to be a personal opinion thing, I am sold on Amsoil, made in the US. They do a crap ton of testing, and any tests I see ppl do it is always top or close to the top. I’ve never had an issue with it.

Must be a new variety ? I haven’t noticed on the shelf in my local Walmart’s yet . They do have 4T Mobile One that’s specifically intended for motorcycles but I believe it’s over $8 a quart.Gonna try the Supertech 4T full synthetic. It's JASO rated and was the only thing I could find with that rating. Less than $24 for 4 quarts. Time will tell.
I do the same, simple, i don't have the time to go looking for another brand oil to save a few bucks. In the long run no one will gain life out of their motor because they decided to go to brand X.Which is why I stick to OE Yamalube. Their bike, their brand.
Don't get me started on that.state inspection
