Always like the look of a hugger regardless what bike it’s on! Got a list of things I need to do to the bike and getting a hugger wasn’t a top priority but managed to get this on eBay at a bargain price, 15 minutes to fit it, anything that helps keeping all the crap flying into the suspension is a bonus!97E83CB5-1878-4CAD-AB4A-57A24E92EC7E.jpeg

:p  ;) would still swap you for touring around some USA states ... my favourite country of all, not been to Texas yet but its on the list!
Is that far from where you live then? I know Texas is huge so is it massively far from you?
Texas has some beautiful roads, but there's a lot of it that's quite boring. The Alamo is about four hours to the south from me. Texas is about 12hrs across, and almost 14hrs, top to bottom.

and me gotta see the ALAMO before i die loved that film
You may be disappointed. It's been swallowed/surrounded by San Antonio. With all of the modern buildings around it, it looks very small. But, it still has history.

Its mind boggling .... there was always the comments regarding how many Americans don't own passports? not sure how much is a myth but I can see why ... the USA has the world in one country, I guess most Americans won't see half their own country? its amazing and I would love to spend a couple of years just mooching about ... one can dream eh?

If still on the stock seat, look up flat seat mod on youtube for 15-20ish bucks this really makes a world of difference in comfort. I went from the same after an hour uncomfortable, to being able to go most the day with no issues.

As big as Texas is, at 268,597K square miles. . . . Alaska has 663,300K square miles. California "only" has 163,696K square miles, but some fan-freakin'-tastic roads, and weather.

Yes, If you split Alaska in half, Texas would be the third largest state.

I will take a look ... I use a air cushion mostly and that helps a lot, whilst I sport a chubby girth I have very little padding on my rear end :p

Shown the other way, all of Europe fits into the flat middle cropland States of the US, between the Rocky Mountains and Mississippi River with a bit of room to spare. It's always a chuckle to hear people say they want to see the US in a couple of weeks or even month.
fwiw - Roughly 40% of US citizens own a passport.
