How much easier is the clutch pull with that slave cylinder? Ie: i know they say 25% but how does it *feel*?

I am going back from a shorty pazzo lever to a full length adjustable lever so i can reap the mechanical benefits of a longer mechanical lever. My hand gets tired quickly in stop and go or parking lot practice sessions.

to be honest, i liked the look of it more than anything, but after TABASCO said he fitted one to a customers bike and he liked it enough to buy one himself that was it, fitted today had a 30 mile ride home felt a bit lighter but not a massive but TABASCO i think said it need 500 miles

That's a purty ass bike. I suspect that it takes quite awhile to get it that clean after riding in y'alls weather. 'Cuz, I'm thinking whereas I clean my bike. . . . you sterilize your bike. :)

You mean those two stickers in your windscreen? Geez, I thought Virginia's sticker was obnoxious...
hi,

no those 2 stickers on the windscreen, are not from the UK they are left over from last year and the year before when on holiday in AUSTRIA you have to buy permits to use there motorways its a huge fine if caught without one of these so as you cross the AUSTIAN
border you buy one at the border for a few days so you can use there auto routes

Ten forks are really simple to rebuild. Panman and I did both of ours after our 2019 AK trip. Good reference from The Tenerist with pics and step by step description, do make sure you have a spring compressor, bushing and seal driver.

If you get into a bind give me a shout.

Hi
When I begin to compress the spring the top is also compressing. Maybe its stuck but I don't want to force it and break something. Suggestions?

I made the deal to buy it, that's what I did!!! :) :) :) Haven't been this excited over a bike purchase in a lotta years - picking it up tomorrow - 2017 ES with under 20,000 kilometers on it (12,500 miles)

Doin' the happy dance and can't wait to back in the bush - been years since my Jeeping days

Very nice set up Rob. The new crash bars are awesome in that flaming red. I just got my altriders in this week, just the lowers.
Fitting them ASAP.

Stefan
yer stefan,
lovely bit of kit to be honest, i was really lucky had to buy the uppers new £230 can,t get them second had full stop, but i guy literally 50 yrds away from me had a gen 2 tenere for 6 months and sold it 2 yrs ago and lucky a few weeks ago asked me if i new anybody that wanted crash bars fo a tenere, i ask what they were he had taken the altrider lowers off the bike when he sold it and were gathering dust in his garage he said i could have them for £50

so they were £280 for lowers and uppers plus the powder coating

Wow, you’re a lucky man. The uppers are too expensive for me. I paid €325 for just the lowers... hopefully we both never need them though. But if we do, they’re up to the job.

Ride safe,

Stefan

Finally had the time today to replace my 28 month old Interstate Batteries (made by YUASA) FAYTZ12S
that was shot with a new YUASA YTZ14S. The extra CCA of the 14S was immediately apparent when starting,
wish I would have done this back in '18. I think the somewhat premature death of my 12S may have been
a result of my NOCO battery maintainer/charger being on its last legs.
