Wow! Are you the original owner of the bike?
My air filter was dirtier than that at 7,500 miles. You must have pristine air where you ride...
I dont do much dirt and wash the bike every couple of weeks and had similar experience with fz09 with tip overs but would get 25k and could still do more.

hi offcamber,

is that camera sysyem the 2 camera version front and rear is it new to you or have you used it awhile, would appreciate some feedback and a lonk ta.

Similar to the 1080p system on mine but the control unit is a bit nicer on his.
Feedback is that they are OK as traffic cameras but not good enough for high quality Youtube type videos. Examples of stills from the video are below. The first is a bit blurred because my front camera is behind the windshield and it was drizzling.

I tore a knee up at the end of November and finally got to ride for the first time yesterday. It was 64 degrees out and felt FANTASTIC!!!

Super careful not to move my bad knee the wrong way at stops and standing on the pegs wasn't happening, but huge progress.

btw - After the 9 weeks of being parked the nearly 5 year old YTZ14S battery started the bike with no problem.

Front brakes today. Amazing how easy they are since you can pop them through the top with a little dancing around with the piston calipers to get the new ones in. One was sticking a bit so little lube and working it back and fourth got it all fixed up. Glad I did them a bit early before having to rebuild the caliper or replace it.

Replaced one of my Cyclops LED headlights. The H7 replacement had a different harness.

Still fit fine. I pulled the headlight assembly for easier access to remove and replace.
Bad bulb:

Just over 20k miles.

Did the flat seat mod tonight. Then started installing a set of Barkbusters. Would've finished if I'd had a 12mm allen wrench to get the OEM bar end weights off.

Rear brakes, such a simple job 2 12mm bolts and done. I just hate maintenance work, but its almost a pleasure when things are this easy.

Had a sluggish shift from 1-2 the last few days, nothing I was worried about, but just seemed to slip just the tiniest bit now and then. Read here about changing the clutch master cylinder brake fluid so gave that a try. Wow that reservoir ridiculously tiny. Fluid was ugly bad. Sucked out what I could will do a proper full replace soon as I get the right size hose to fit the nipple.

Don't forget to grease the gear shift pivot too, that's another one that can cause shifting issues.

Any recommendations for best bite front pads, I judge the originals a little lacking?
EBC HH.

What you describe is exactly what I thought about the braking performance. Much happier with the EBC pads, which I’m about to replace with the same.

Leave the rear on standard pads, as the EBC appeared to chew up the disc. This wasn’t so with the fronts.

Here’s my original thread on why I changed. https://www.yamahasupertenere.com/index.php?threads/pad-change.24388/

I wish there were other peg makers that had the same setup as the S10 pegs. Rubber for highway riding, steel grip for off-road riding when the rubber compresses.
It's a clever design for sure, just too narrow and concentrated load in the arch or ball of my foot for extended standing. The OEM rubber ones do nothing for vibration though, as there's not much if any detectable vibration in the pegs anyway. So far the only slight negatives I've noticed is that it's a bit harder to deploy the side stand around these larger pegs. I'm also a little worried about how much they are going to wear my boot soles and the lower, inner pant legs of my 'Stich when paddling about with feet off the pegs. I have to extend my legs out further to avoid potentially abrading the pant legs.
