I can pretty much concur spot-on with the both of you regarding your impressions for the Mich AAs. I have put over 700 miles on my AAs since I had them installed in mid May but I have not really had too much experience with them off the pavement except for a few short scoots on some hard park dirt roads and rocky, gravelly trails which they were fine on. The howling in the curves has now kind of become a "hum" but whenever my S10 is the least bit off centerline they make their noise which at this point I have kind of gotten used to.
Did both of you Gents apply for the Michelin Off-Road tire rebate?

I’ve listened for it based on forum comments, but really can’t hear any noise from the tires. I wear -32db earplugs all the time and have a Delkevic pipe though.

OOPS!! I see you are running the Michelin "Adventure" tire. I was commenting on the Wilds. And boy they are very noisy!! I imagine that yours are not bad at all.

I mounted my camera holder. Repurposed an old GPS mount. Yeah', I'm old school!! It's just so much easier to stop take a pic or two and keep moving.

I use the same Camera (well, a previous version of it) I have a TG-610.
I love the camera, and I agree about the ease of use of a point and shoot type while riding.
The only thing I have issues with is battery life...............doesn't seem to last very long if I'm taking a lot of pictures.
I usually just have it in the tank-bag for easy access.

I washed my bike. This is at the very bottom of my list of things to do on any motorcycle. I never can get it what I call show room clean and always find a new rock chip or scratch that wasn't there last time. Drives me nutty. I've talked to friends about it and they really enjoy spending the day cleaning their bike. Give me a tool box and let me take it apart and put it back together. That is relaxing for me. Just don't give me a bucket of soapy water and tell me to have fun.

Flat Lander I'm the same, give me a tool box is a much better deal than a bucket! I can do many things with a tool box and not to many with the bucket!!!
Regards.

Ironically the stage in life that I have been at for the last bunch of years I find elevated levels of happiness, relaxation and therapeutic value equally with both wrenching and washing/detailing my two scoots.

Finally wore the tires to a point I could justify taking them off so I spooned on a set of 705's.
Hopefully they will work out well, but they certainly have different feel than the ones that came off.

Thought something was wrong when I headed out to get an oil filter. By the time I was headed home it almost felt normal again.

If you have the time, and feel like it, I would like a short repport afterwards, I'm actually thinking of going to "Schwartzwald" in about 5 weeks.
You know...the route, was it good, traffic okay or much traffic, where the nice camping area are, and stuff like this ;-)

I'm Bad, I'm Nationwide.
Time for first oil change and figure ill do the final drive oil since I forgot to ask the old owner when it had been done.

HOLY CRAP. Some people should not be allowed to use power tools. Had to get the small breaker bar to get one of the drain bolts out. Had to get my longest wrench I own to hook on the 6mm allen as a breaker bar for the fill on the final drive fill. Thought I cracked the housing when it made an audible SNAP on release.
