Last days put on a Leo Vince, created my own instrument panel based on previous post and installed a Cell Ram base with a self made bracket in the accessories bar.IMG_2585.jpegIMG_2586.jpeg

Fitted up a set of MOTOZ Tractionators, fitted up my Touratech mount for my Garmin 595, fitted up the Denali power hub, and wired everything up.

Installed Givi Trekker Outback CAM mounts and test fitted the panniers. I must say that I am very impressed with the quality of these rack, every bolt hole lined up perfectly, I didn't have to do any kind of coxing at all to get these things bolted to the bike.

Put on a set of 30mm risers from Over The Road, and installed my reflashed ECU I got back from Anthony. The ECU reflash is awesome and worth every penny. The risers are good, but I’m not sure if they will be enough ride for me.

Cant keep up with all you guys with your farkles but I did just ride 707 miles to Edinburgh and back in one day. Used 71.93 litres or 15.822 gallons (uk) so that means I gor 44.68 miles per gallon. Not great but Im used to it after all these years/miles on my S10

Added the knockoff Xscreen I bought on EBay that finally came in from China.

First ride impressions are awesome. Completely smoothed out the airflow on the bike while still allowing great ventilation through my jacket and helmet. 90mph now sounds like 30 mph before the Xscreen. I rode with my visor open at 75. This accessory is worth every penny.

Can you share a link & picture? I have been intrigued by getting one for my stock screen but the Xcreens are just to expensive.

Cleaned it up (yesterday) after some muddy, dusty, buggy Iowa/IL riding over the last couple weeks. Today changed oil, filter, final drive. While I had the SW Motech pan off, pounded out a new ding and removed the rubber sump bumper that they don't include anymore.

Hip Hip Hoo Bloody Ray.

5 weeks after I took delivery of the Pig, and a credit card melt down of farkles and skinned knuckles in the shed, and the Pig lives.

Started running her in to get ready for some serious Aussie Outback adventures.

Looks like a well set up package. Let us know what you think of the MotoZ tires as you put some kilometers on the bike. What tire pressure are you running?

What did I do to my Tenere today?

I liberated it from the evil hands of a dealership and brought it home in my garage where i'll take good care of it and feed it miles and miles of roads :D

Congratulations mate.
Just make sure those pannier locks are locktited in, the backing plates fall out way to easy, and then you are stuffed

I ran the same tires on my Exlporer XCA that had a tickled motor with 149 RWHP, these tires did 8,000 km's 50/50 dirt/bitumen, and looked like they had another 7-8,000 km's left in them.
Ran 36/40 PSI on the bitumen, and aired down to 24/28 on sand/mud.

I love them.

A note on MotoZ tires, the side wall has a 32 psi value on it. This is the psi used for the load test, NOT the max air pressure rating. Different way of looking at things. A lot of dealerships get this wrong and will tell you it's the max pressure. They are wrong. I checked with the importer and the manufacturer recently when some hack at a BMW dealership was trying to tell my wife her tires were "way over pressure" on her GSA at 36F/42R.

She's got over 10k miles on a set of the GPS Tractionators and loves them. Better wet traction than K60s and might be equal tread life to Mitas E07 Dakars, time will tell.

Good to know, adding to the list for a full check-up tomorrow. Did 650kms between yesterday when I picked it up and tonight, not dumping the oil until 1k kms but will go over all the nuts/bolts/spokes tomorrow, supposed to rain. Perfect day to do that in the garage.
