What tyres does your S10 wear?

My opinion the best all around tires for the Super Tenere are the Dunlop TrailMax Mission.
My mate fitted a set to his Tiger900 last Nov for our Valencia trip, took them off as soon as he got home, fitted PR6s instead. He sold them on as part worns. Must admit I was surprised he went for them as we only ever do road riding on these trips, although we did have snow in the Pyrenees at the top, but I’d have thought it pretty obvious these are more offroad orientated.

I'm confused. PR6s are Pilot Road 6s. They are street only tires. Trailmax Missions are dual purpose.

I’m confused as to why your confused…
As you say the 6s are road tyres which is all he ever rides and the Valencia trip was all road. Which is why I was surprised he chose the dunlops which just by looking at them are obviously more offroad biased.

After rereading your post . . . . yeah, I misread it. I read that as soon as he got home with his Tiger, he fitted a pair of Michelins on to it. My pea brain was thinkin' home from the dealer. Somehow, I missed "after the trip".

I am about to get my second set this coming Saturday.
Very happy with them.
I got about 13'000 km I could replace only the rear but I am about to get on a long trip so I would know if the front would make 8000 km more....
I personally love this tires

Well I just looked it up, unfortunately the free towing is only offered in the USA and Canada and I was wrong about the free replacement. It’s still a very nice deal and I probably should have bought Continental tires.

Unfortunately There was another forum member that very often attempted to cause trouble for Balliticechris but that other forum member is no longer on this forum, I think they should allow Ballitcechris back on the forum.

Unfortunately Continental doesn’t seem to offer any 50-50 tires that fit the Super Tenere , 50-50 is what I wanted for the Alaska trip.
they do have a tire called TKC80 Twinduro that’s supposed to fit the Super Tenere but there are no pictures so I have no idea what it might look like.
ok found a picture. Cyclegear carry them, I have a feeling that tire would be worn out before even making it to Alaska , hopefully the TrailMax Missions I bought will be able to make it up and back. 1688511114399.jpeg

My mission tire have been great. Used them off road they were on point. I have toured on them. They seem to do it all. The last parameter is how long they last for me. Still working on that one. Anyone try the mutant tire? They look intriguing.

I believe you are right... I've seen them here (TKC80), mostly on Beemers and heard good things about them, but also that they wear out quickly.
