Glad you got it sorted. If you find nesting in the airbox, you might consider a screen over the intake.

When I lived in the desert we had to park my step-son's car outside for a week while he was away on business. The desert rats and mice filled his air box & the heater blower motor with nesting materials/food and it was no fun to take everything apart to clean all that out. I didn't have to repair any wiring, too much food naturally around I suspect. Even the ducting inside had to be removed and cleaned out. I used to regularly have to do wiring repairs to the ATV and golf cart the Parks Dept kept in a conex box due to mice wiring damage. At least those were simple machines compared to a car or modern motorcycle.
