I’m installing a brake flasher and I noticed a connector underneath the passenger seat – it just dead ends there. There are 4 wires running into a 6 pin conmector

I believe it's a factory diagnostic connector.

It is the fall(angle) sensor. stop the engine. I think I have read that if the engine stops due to a fall, it does not restart immediately. you have to turn off the key, wait a few seconds and try again

Everybody is right. Both the G-sensor and the diagnostics plug are there. Don't tap into either for your brake flasher.

Unbolt the rear seat and pan. Under the pan are the brake wires.

The tipover sensor is under the pillion support pan. The diagnostic dead end harness is under the driver seat. The brake wires can be accessed under the driver seat.

Thanks and yeah I didnt tap into it. It looks like your brake wires are are on the right side of the tail, while my 2013 had them on the left side. Oddly enough the wires running towards the taillight under the pilon split before getting all the way back there and looked the same on both sides, until i tracked them all the way to the light.
