What is the thread size pitch for gen1 bar end bolts?

As the title says, anyone know what the bolt size and thread pitch is? just need to know what tap size I need. I have a 2013 with Barkbusters and am looking to get new bars, but need the ends tapped or need to get inserts.

The stock 1st gen bar end bolts are M8 x 1.25

New bars will take a little bit of work. They don't generally come with anything to run a screw into. You can find the split wedge nuts if somebody has the actual name of the things. I threaded the end of my Raptors and ran a big brass dampener into the bars that had a threaded hole in the middle. Came together perfect. I can't recall the brand name for the inserts.
