I am going from England to Austria in June to do the Grossglockner Pass in the Alps, and then on to the Dolomite Mountains in Italy. Going with a mate who rides a GS it will be the first trip we have done where I don't have to re fuel three times to his one !! Previous bike was an XJR1300. It will also be my first big trip on the S10 so really looking forward to it :)

Alabama to South Dakota in May! Following a friend who moved to Idaho while he rides his bike to its new home.

Sounds like about 5 Tenere 's [including mine] are heading out of Iowa to Deadhorse with all the off pavement riding we can find along the way.
Planning on picking up Troll near Whitehorse to ride the South Canol and up the North Canol till we run out of fuel or road. Maybe he will stick with us to do the Dempster also.
Can't wait! Ride, sleep, ride, sleep, ride, ride , ride! Don't need to eat coffee will do.

I've been up and down the Canol so much I might be more interested in the Alaska side of your plans... let's see what August brings to the table. ::26::

Hope to be on a 2012 S10 for my June 6-15 trip to Grand Canyon's north rim. I met a local that has a '14 Tenere that wants to go but has to check his schedule when it comes out in may.
If I can't swing the Tenere, I'll be on my NC700X along with around 5 others - if everyone shows.
The Grand Canyon is something I wanted to see since I was a kid (60 yo this year). What better way than on two wheels?

Grand Canyon is beyond words!
Grand is an understatement, it is so unreal it almost looks fake or a dream.

Leaving Oshawa Ontario in the early hours of June 2nd and spending a month on the road. Headed eventually for California (with points between) and north to British Columbia and eventually home for Canada Day, (Cause I gotta work nights)...won't be too much off roading, since I will be solo but this trip has been 6 years in the making so I kinda want to survive it and repeat it in the future!

Don't know how I missed you, I'm in Bowmanville and I'm leaving for Washington around the beginning of June and I don't have a clue when I will be back. Meeting a few guys in Washington to do the Back Country Discovery Route from South to North then over to Vancover Island. We need to get together for a ride or two.

The Grand Canyon is amazing, IMO it is best seen form the air, if you can get a ride in a Glider, Airplane or probably the best, which I have not done, is a Helicopter as they actually go inside the Canyon!

I've been in a Cessna 150 before. It was neat but I'm a little too scared to enjoy the ride. I'll just have to enjoy from two feet or two wheels!

I haven't put any thought into this yet but it will be that time again soon enough..
My few are Redwoods and pacific coast, Sequoia National Park, Glacier NP, Try again Rocky Mountain NP, Some place in Arizona in spring (any advice?) and Great Basin.
Visit some friends in Idaho falls then to Yellowstone and Grand Tetons.
If I do one big long outing I will be happy.
Ouray and Moab are always on my short list of short ride trips just to say i did something cool..

Haven't seen Bigfoot yet! :D
Headed to Cabo

Trip for a week in the Smokey Mountains. So far we have a Tenere, 2 Cruisers, a Gold Wing, & a Gold Wing Trike going. Ought to be interesting!
When are you planning this trip for or have you already made it?

Figured I'd bump this just to let anyone in the area of the Grand Canyon know I'll be coming through from the east on I-40 June 6th and stopping in Flagstaff for the night. Heading up to the North Rim on the 7th.
Anyone wanting a day ride (or go camping for a couple of days) are welcome. I'll be meeting 5 others from around the country (from PA to CA). They'll all be on Honda NC700's (the bike I had before I got a real motorcycle!).

I'm attempting the SS1000. Coming from Shreveport, LA.
Yes, long distance appeals.....
