24 hours ago I get home during a break in the rain with the sun shining. Gear up and head to the garage. By the time I was started and heading out the driveway the clouds were out. Headed north out of town on damp roads for 20 minutes just enjoying the probably last ride of the year. Turned east around the lake the clouds were dark. Pull back into the garage 40 minutes later just as the rain starts again.

Today:

14 degrees with light snow over ice!

My condolences. I'm pretty sure it's the same cold front that came through here yesterday....but, today we're sunny, dry, and 57. We'll pay for it in the summer though.

I got in a nice ride Thursday also.
When I got home I really shined up the old girl because it might be a while till the weather breaks again.
I'm really itching to head down to the Ozarks for some twisties and camping the first sign of a 3---4 day sunny stretch.

No snow here, its a very rare occurrence (last happened in 2008), but we do have ice on the sidewalks where the sprinklers overflow, and the other day Las Vegas NV was colder than Anchorage AK

It's January. Weather is not something I love to discuss here. Except that it sucks.
Same here in Wisconsin. Too cold for motorcycles, not enough snow for snowmobiles and not enough safe ice for ice fishing. Might as well hibernate until spring.

If this was possible, count me in:D:cool:
We almost never get so cold that icefishing is possible.
And also not snow enough to snowmobile:mad:.
But we can sit inside at look at "yamahasupertenere.com", or HBO or Netflix:eek:

I can't hibernate so the wife and I came to Florida for a month. Nice break up of winter for a hoosier .

Snow is a 4 letter word.

With the climate changing, we get FAR less snow in the DC/Baltimore area than we used to. The first time that I had to shovel my drive last year was actually the second day of Spring, and could've done that with a broom. Used to be that by now we would have already had a couple of big snow storms come through.

It has been in the single digits here lately. Not enough snow in the mountains to snowmobile. That time of year that is blah. We have about 4” of snow on the ground. Supposed to get a good storm tonight.

Yeah, I'd be there too, but we have our second grandchild due next week. It was looking like we were finally going to escape one of these Wisconsin winters. More babysitting opportunities.
