I took shearing to be the action of the blades. Pruning is normally fine work rather than the blunt weapon (in keeping with the thread!) that hedge shears are. But to me pruning shears are called secateurs.
Correct

Bunnies too, even in a suburb where you don't want to make noise.

My very German ex always thought the bunnies in the back yard were SOOOO cute, right up till she planted a garden. I was floored when she said I could shoot them and the problem was that we lived in a typical suburban neighborhood. Fortunately our house backed into woods so no house behind us. I have a nice scoped .22 Weatherby and sent one of the kids to the back yard to do a sound check. With the back slider open about 2 inches and me backed away as far to the opposite wall as possible they said the sound outside was nothing. So that's how the bunnies started to leave the yard one by one.
There's always a way.

Not sure I've seen anyone post this one.

It was the last gun we purchased, way back before the world went into lock-down mode. And since it's a wheel gun, you know DM was the driver behind getting it. She has a thing for revolvers.

Started off wanting The Judge, but researched this one as well. At the show, after getting our hands on both, DM started pushing for bringing the Governor home. She usually gets what she wants no matter how much I pretend I have a say in the matter.

Good call. In addition to 410 and .45 Colt, the Governor lets you use a clip to add in .45 ACP. That brings the cost of shooting way, way down.

Been riding my bike so much I really haven't shot this year. I've been told it's bad out there if you need ammo.

Oddly. . . . around here anyway. . . . plenty of shotgun ammo.

EDIT: Everything else is gone.

Same here according to my neighbor. Double the price if you can even find it.

It does make me hesitant to diminish my supply.

Both of the kids are issued 9mm, and have plenty for me too . . . .but, my EDC is a .40. My other preferred is .45acp.

You're absolutely correct. I remember when it was going to be THE caliber of the future. (after 10mm was found to be a little "hot"). At the time I got the .40, they weren't making it in .45, which I have plenty of.

Personal opinion: Everything is going 9mm due to cost, and people being able to handle the recoil better. I find it odd that .40 is fading out, but the really old fashioned .45 is as strong as ever.

I once had the Glock 27. For me, the .40S&W in a gun that small was a terrible choice. It was tolerable for the first 25 shots. By the time you finished off the box your hand was getting pretty miserable and you never wanted to see it again. I've definitely had guns I wish I never sold. The .40S&W Glock 27 does not fit into that category. It was replaced with a 9mm and I never looked back.

My old fashion .45 Ruger P90 (as seen on the movie poster with Arnold in True Lies) is like shooting with a cushion between the gun and your hand. Hard to think of greater contrast between the .40 and the .45 than those two guns. Still have the .45, I'll never get another .40S&W.
