It'll be the haves vs. the have nots...as it pertains to ownership of a longarm sewing machine. Ex-wife and her sister are in to quilting, the latter having her own long arm setup. Talk about crazy money, wow...
Got an unbelievable deal on a long arm setup....guess I will tell the story on the quilting thread!

I've actually had some of that beer. It is very good. The best beer "over here" is all imported. As close as Mexico, to all the way over there. Interesting fact: met some folks from Holland, while in port at Ft. Lauderdale. They asked what beer was good, and then saw Heineken. They took a drink, made a face, and made it very clear that what we think is Heineken, is not. Even though it says "imported form Holland" on the label.

My other Beretta. A U22 Neos. It will feed anything you put in there, and drive tacks all day long.

Not sure I see how this thread is all that different from the COVID-19 thread.

A topic which has every possible opinion out there held by different members. Often inspiring passionate thread writing.

I stopped reading the COVID-19 thread months ago. I was learning far too much about the thought process of some members, and that was a bad thing. It's been a good thread not to visit.

I certainly have no justification to tell anyone why they cannot have a COVID-19 thread just because I don't care for how some members come across in that thread. I can and do ignore it. Makes me happy to do so.

So why does the mere existence of a thread on this topic, that is strongly moderated to keep it on topic and positive for those who want to participate in a positive way, need to generate such animosity?

Why is shuttling down discussion on a topic you don't like the preferred course of action as opposed to not reading a particular thread? Seems like an awful lot of that happening in the world these days.

As a dutchman i can conform the Heineken part of you’re story. We never drink it at home. Not the export or the “normal” one.
