I find watching someone do something in a video to be most helpful. Something as easy as removing a back rim to change a tire can be odd the first time. I know making a video might be a pain in the Ars but you will feel the love when it helps people out. I would pay 5.00 or so to see something done, it just makes me feel more confident to do the work myself. 8)

Re: Build Video Library of mods or maintenance

I'll build a Tenere-specific "How-To / Maintenance" database for the frequent tasks. We already have a wealth of information on here, it just needs a little categorization. Stay tuned.

Not seeing a single collection already existing, here is a collection of videos found on Youtube. Be warned that there are no comments on the quality for these and and some are pretty bad. We have threads for each of these which usually have better discussion and details, so do a simple search for them before taking any video as gospel truth.

This thread is just a place to collect videos so feel free to add:

Let ~Tabasco~ do it? He did my valves and TB sync. Never ran better.

Now if he can get the length right on my side stand... (He also lowered mine)

Truth be told. Memorial Day weekend loaded both bikes on a trailer to Justin Texas. Dropped the tenere at Jaxon's then unloaded the Indian a couple miles away at a storage place where we left the trailer.

Wife and I rode her Indian Roadmaster (hers because she liked the seat and forced me to buy it, and she will not ride the 10) to our daughters place in Austin. Rode the Sisters with them on two Indians. Back to Justin and load the Roadmaster. Go to Jaxon's. get on the 10.

You know there are sort of three ways to take off. In traffic slow release of the clutch. Or the other end, try to pop a wheelie! Then there is the half throttle way. Mind you i am in touring mode.

Any way I jump on the bike and do a half throttle take off. Almost dump it. The great Mitas E07 rear slides out on me. I did catch it but not sure the rest of the 2 block test ride was meaningful. Got back and loaded on the trailer.

Apologized to Jaxon for the skid marks on his drive. My bike has never run better.

IL, the land of straight, flat, boring roads
Thanks for organizing that list, Bob.

BTW, in addition to the one about converting the rear seat to luggage, the throttle body sync with Harmonizer video is mine also.

Special Offer: No charge to view these for forum members. ;D
