Versys skid plate

A mate has just bought a Versys 1000 and wants to add a skid plate. We looked at the SW motech version but that appears to bolt to the sump and engine cases so I advised him against it. Can anyone recommend a skid plate for the Versys?

It's a comfy road bike 1 up only when touring, that's what I found on the 18 I had before the Tenere. The S10 for me is far superior.

T-Rex Racing has one. I watched the install video and it doesn't appear to attach to the sump
