I live in Chile, South America. A good friend who has a 2017 Supertenere XTZE has a leaking in the Drive Shaft. he is in the nothingnesses of Chile and need the spare to drive safe. We need the oil seal PART # 93102-50009-00 number 14 shown in the attached picture.
Yamaha Chile has not the oil seal on stock.
Somebody has the measurement of that oil seal? Or somebody has an old one in order to look the measurements that in some oil seals are written at one side.
Your help will be appreciated.

I have one of them seals out in the shop here, I'll go get it.
The sad thing for your friend is you need a very special tool to install that seal.

Sorry , I went out and looked and I do not have that seal anymore.
I do have the tool here right now. This is what it takes to replace the seal.

Get in touch with Snakebitten, he will pull the whole final drive off his bike and send it to you! :D
I'm joking of course, but I remember the time when msch needed an oil pump and snake dropped the pan off his own engine, removed his oil pump and sent it to Chili just to get another forum member back on the road. Amazing guy, I miss him posting this past year or so.

I am impressed with the help and friendship of this forum members.
Bernie offered to post me the seal.
THANKS A LOT BERNIE!!!!

We already imported with fast delivery the 3 type of oil seals located in the drive shaft and wheel side.
We will try to buy in a seal shop with the measurements Bernie posted.
If my friend Davide does not find the seal, I suggested him to clean the small hole area, cover it with a duct tape, and drain each night.
I think this will prevent oil falling over the tire and a potential slip in a curve due to a tire with oil.

Thank to all who replied and specially to Bernie (BWC).

The seal is likely to fail. But usually, the failure of a seal is related to a certain radial movement of the bearing. You should check it before putting a new seal. Obviously discarding the vent

What’s up with Yamaha not being able to get these very basic parts ? I went through the same crap when I needed rear wheel bearings while on a trip, Yamaha dealers claimed rear wheel bearings had been on back order for a couple weeks and Yamaha had no idea when they might be available.
i wound up ordering the complete rear wheel bearing kit from https://www.allballsracing.com/ and had them in 4 days. So a simple wheel bearings replacement that should have been a 1 day deal took a week in a motel !

i sincerely hope you are able to find a seal somewhere that will work !

You are lucky to live in the US or Europe. in Chile takes 3 weeks and most of Southamerica is worst.
