Next time I babble on about April being dryer than May according to the Buxton Weather Station convincing everyone to choose the 9th to meet, please feel free to tell me I talk B**llocks

Its look of the draw! I don't think there are any regional weather forcasts any more. They centralised all the forcasting and lost the local predictions many years ago.
Bring some thermals as it'll be cold going over the tops!

Weather been to n fro all week but looking good enough to me not to worry to much. Least it's not ice rink conditions like last year's meet there. I might even go camping the night before.... 8)

Unfortunately I'm going to have to drop out.

Due to family commitments, I could only spend about 45mins at CMC, but my return journey time would be about 5 hours.

Have a good day, and maybe next time.

I have to say that at the moment the thought of a 400 mile day in rain and near freezing conditions is not that appealing!! hopefully my mood will change by the morning

I've got for up that way, nice all morning and possible showers in the afto... Not bad considering it's meant to shower in April. ::) Suppose worst comes to worst we could all rent for the day, a proper 'adventure' bike like a GS to cope with our harsh unforgiving climate. ;D
