If this is info is not to be posted here, please delete.... Thanks

Just an FYI, I placed an order for SpecTech tank pads on July 5th. Order showed item in stock, payed w/ PayPal and no problems.
Since then, I've contacted them twice about my order. First response was, lack of staff and high order demand. Then second response was, we're changing/modifying some things in our system and will hopefully be sending your order late this week or maybe the next week... really?
I would have placed my ordered from Revzilla but they have been out of stock for weeks. Also, my last order from RevZilla was a rear tire. It took them 5 week days to ship it, because I'm not a RPM member. When I called on the 5th day after no shipping info they said, It should be shipped in the next day or two.
Wow, what happened to real customer service??
Good Luck everyone if you need something for a trip/ride coming up soon.
Ride Safe

I stopped using partzilla for something similar to this. They say a part is in stock and turns out its 6 months + on back order and this before covid. You can call customer service and they give you different excuses as to why this is. I was told one time that there system doesn't update quickly and you must call to verify its in stock. I use cyclegear even though they are the same company as revzilla. I think twisted throttle has been bought out by cyclegear years ago. I haven't had issues with cycle gear. I can't say the same thing for dealing with the employees in person.

I had a problem with Partzilla too, about this time last year. Ordered an engine guard that showed to be in stock, but wasn't. It was 2 weeks before I found out they didn't have one. I contacted them and got a refund back to my card. Worked out ok for me though, found an almost new one on this Forum and saved about $50.

Ordered a Denali light kit from Twisted Throttle last fall, ordered over the phone thinking I would get to talk to someone that knew more than me but that didn’t happen, the kit was out of stock so the guy says they will ship the switches first, then the wiring and in about a month should have the lights available to ship. Well I told him to wait and ship everything in one box all together, well he agreed to that but still shipped everything in different boxes at different times and without any receipts. The waterproof hi-off-low switch gets water in it when it rains and sometimes causes the lights to flicker so hopefully they will replace the switch under warranty. I will be calling them one of these days about the switch issue but other than that I don’t plan on ever doing business with Twisted Throttle again.

Is this about TT or Revzilla?

I have had nothing but good luck from Revzilla.

TT stole my "mod" and made it there own, bunch of rip off artists there IMO.
Actually Both Retailers, just adding the RevZilla note as a comparison, of how customer service is changing everyday....
Just letting others know, you may not get the same fast shipping from RevZilla anymore, unless you join (and pay an annual fee) for their new RPM group that gets faster service.
In the past RevZilla would usually ship my order in 1-2 days and I'd receive the product at my door in 3-5 days. Now the shipping for a Non RPM member, may take 4-5 days just to ship/fill your order, then add the actual shipping time to your door. Hope this is not confusing. You can see the details about RPM on the Home Page of RevZilla.

What mod are you referring to ?

The ABS "by-pass" mod. @ MMM (2014-2015), we were sitting around drinking and what not. Dude started bashing the ST, his complains were:

Traction Control
ABS

He was on LT Dan's rental ST, I started talking to him and showed him my bike, I think I was the only other ST there. A few months later, dip-shit (I forget his given name) posted on here looking for ST to DEMO their "one of a kind" MOD.

I also told him how to turn of traction control.....

Just curious, why didn’t you order the tank pads directly from TechSpec?

Actually didn't know I could order from the products company.
My 2013 ST already had Snake Skin Tank Pads installed by previous owner.
Wanted the same for my (new to me) 2015 ST, first time to order. Oh well, same price looks like and item will be here before my 2000+ miles trip in 2 weeks.
And, I now know if TT post an item "IN STOCK" that I need in a week or two, I'll order elsewhere.

I wouldn't give TT a dollar, even if I knew they were going to give it to someone in need. One of their employees use to chime in on the board every now and then.

Hope he sees this!
