Don't worry about not being able to flatfoot...
I have my seast in low pos. and I can only get tippy toes on ground, no problem.
Just remember to look at the terrain when going to full stop, so that you don't try to put your feet down, right in a low spot:eek:;):)

I hear the best practice is to leave one foot, ideally the left, on the peg and flat foot just one foot rather than try to reach the ground with both feet. I think the idea there is that if the ground is slick or has poor traction you have a bigger foot print and more sure footing than being on the toes.

Åh yes, of course.
That was just to give an idea of the actual situation.

Welcome aboard! If you need any help with the forum, please let myself for checks wrecks know.

I lived in Phoenix for 6 years, and it was during that time thought I bought my ST, new, from a dealer in Texas. Ride Now was not open to price matching...

Another resource for skills improvement is the AZ Goldwing Drill Team. They typically have weekend drill sessions, usually up at Turf Paradise, and also do a longer 6-week session in the spring and fall at the greyhound racetrack by the airport. Last time I went to the 6-week program it was free, though they did ask for donations to offset the cost of the cones and other supplies they used during the run.

Also, the ST feels like it was made for Arizona. Between Crown King, 7 Springs/Bloody Basin Road, the Mogollon Rim, the loop up through Globe.Miami and Show Low, Tortilla Flats...I could go on and on, but it was so easy to point the bike in any direction and find great riding.

Nice! Thank you so much. So the Goldwing Drill Team won't have an issue with someone not on a Goldwing? :D

Crown King is actually one of the places I want to go to the most and then Tower Mountain at night! I've only been living here since 2016 and haven't really left the city except to go shooting out in Tonto with some friends in a lifted truck; so I don't know what there is around here really!
