I sure it's something I doing...
When I try to connect to an old posting. I get tossed back to the front page of the Forums with no clue where to go from there.

http://www.yamahasupertenere.com/index.php?topic=7407.msg125389#msg125389.

Please let me know what I'm doing wrong.
This is a great site that I just getting into more often now that I own a ST.
Thanks for your efforts.

When you find this issue, it's better to use Google to search for your topic...just enter the search string followed by site:yamahasupertenere.com For this particular search, I was able to find it using topic-7407.msg125389 as the search string.

What are you searching for that Google isn't able to find?
Anything Super Tenere related with a google search comes up empty or gives a ADV rider or other website links. The searches rarely have links to this forum. The ones that do just send me to the home page.

Also links within this forum send me to the home page. Only way to find something Super Tenere related is do a forum search. It’s still not as good as it used to be with the older forum.

Really strange issue.

This “strange issue”, is that the way it’s going to be or is there a solution in site?

Without knowing the “key” as mentioned by AVGeek above, it can be frustrating for new guys like me and the OP trying to find useful links.
I can deal with it but.....

It is frustrating and takes up a lot of time when searching. It’s been a while now with no fix in sight.

are you using "site:yamahasupertnere.com" as part of the search criteria? I just did a search on "GPS Mounts" using the site tag, and all of the hits are on this site, as they should be. Also, using Google lets you use 3 letter combinations that the forum software does not.

Just tried. No worky.

BTW, I notice you live in Boulder City NV. Very cool!! My parents lived there for 16 years. I rode around that area for years. It's nice that you can hit the desert right from your driveway.

Small world...my wife was born and raised in Fullerton, and I am an OC native as well.

Copy and paste this string into the Google search window and let me know what you get:

seat mod site:yamahasupertenere.com

Good news is the google search comes up with all the links to this forum. Bad news is only about one third of the links send me to the actual thread. Most of them send me to the home page. I will say this is better than it was.
