The 1450 case is still smaller than givi's smaller trekker. I do like the look of the trekker, even more so than the OEM bags, but I have used Pelican products for several years and I know what kind of abuse they can take. I travel for a living and use a Pelican bag modified to use as a carry on. I am thinking caribou case (pelican) for now. I plan to remove my back seat and lengthen the upper platform and rigging my own way to put my current pelican bag on top and then getting the caribou setup for side bags. One thing to consider for those who want smaller bags, or maybe two sets, one small set and one larger set, caribou sells do it yourself kits to rig your own bags, so you could have different size bags for different types of trips.
