What do you believe the info will help you with?

Many of the reference screws are all the way in to 1/2 turn out. Very few start out more than that. The Forum approved and tried and tested method is to turn the reference screw all the way in, (if it's not already), then back it out 3/4 turn. Then balance the second TB to that. I just did this yesterday on my Gen II, fwiw. It was barely 1/4 turn out from the factory.

Edit - Just realized you are in Dublin. If you have a red key bike with the immobilizer, the factory standard is 3/4 turn out for the reference screw on all EU bikes with immobilizers.

Thanks EricV, I’ve always adjusting the trottle body on the 3/4 turn out but I’d like to start at default position first,I’ll be trying it later so I’ll reply my findings.
Thanks EricV

Update:Adjusted the trottle body’s this evening,I adjust the factory screw slightly past a 1/4 turn from fully closed and the bike runs better then it ever did,I started off on the 3/4 turn and adjusted accordingly but the engine was running very bad so I kept adjusting the factory screw back and adjust- back and adjust.
I’m not getting anymore hunting in low gears, plenty more power in low speed street riding,it’s like a new bike delighted.
Thanks for the reply EricV

Why would EU be different from US/Canadian bikes in the reference setting.

I don't think it is, as the Canadian bikes are Immobilizer/red key bikes, BUT Yamaha Canada has a different set of rules to play by, for emissions and other things, so who knows?
