Transmission / driveshaft help needed

Thanks Sallydog. I changed my wheel bearings last year, but not the carrier one as it was out of stock, still haven’t done it. However, I’ve never heard of the carrier bearing failing, only the actual wheel bearings.

That is the second time in 300000 Mike's that bearing failed. Both oem. Both greased

I carry bearings and brake pads when I go on a trip
