Only had about 300 miles on my new 2nd set when this happened to the rear. I saw it coming on a back road but had nowhere to swerve.

Amazingly, not only did it get me to my local shop, it held all the air until they were able change it later that day.

Thankfully, they had one in stock.

I'm a daily year-round commuter who got 11k on my first set.

Love these tires.

That's my kind of luck. I had just put my A41s on and got a hole in the front one. Patch/plugged it and used it 'till the tread was worn off. It was not a puncture like this one though. These are what I used.

Sorry to see your ruined tire.
Lots of riders here like the Mitas Dakars , I had a set and they were worn out in 10,000 miles, they were a decent tire but I highly prefer the Dunlop TrailMax Mission tires.

Wow that’s over 23,000 miles !
My opinion TrailMax Mission is the best all around choice for the Super Tenere.

Love the Trailmax, but the availability wasn't good this time. I have a set of Motoz Tractionator GPS now.
I've got a Trailmax front with a GPS rear. Works great. When the GPS wears out, I'm planning on putting a Trailmax on the rear as well. The front took me coast to coast across Canada last year (and back) and is going strong. Good fit for the SuperT IMO :)
