I have searched the forum for information on this bracket https://www.touratech-usa.com/Store/Windshield-Adjustment-Bracket-with-GPS-Mounting-Bar-Yamaha-XT1200Z-Super-Tenere-up-to-2013 and I see most of the discussions are abut rider height and improved comfort. I don't have that issue as I am 5'8". What I would like to know is how stable is the Touratech bracket? I would like the additional functionality of the adjustment and the GPS mounting bar, but I don't want something that will decrease the windshield stability at highway speeds.

Lots of folks use the Madstad bracket which I believe now comes with braces that take out the shake. If you go with the Touratech bracket, it's easy enough to fabricate a pair of the braces.
