Hi everyone!

I was really considering changing my S10 original panniers and top case for the Givi trekker outback. The construction looks good as well the design itself. The price was not so hight, so I was almost decided to go for it. However I was a bit curious about the top box, since I did only saw one picture. Since I could not find it available anywhere, I decided to wait a little bit longer.

But today I finally found it available. http://www.omniaracing.net/en/givi-trekker-outback-42lt-black-monokey-black-painted-aluminium-top-case-hard-bag-p-17186.html

The price is almost prohibitive ??? ??? ???

What do you think about that, when comparing with the panniers prices???

Regards,
Pedro

I agree with Karson on the size issue, kind of. I've got a 46L Trekker top case that I used on my KLR. Looked good on the KLR. So for the Tenere I bought the AltRider rear rack and the Givi monokey mounting kit so I could use the Trekker, but the AltRider rack makes it sit WAY high on the bike. For me it's more the height of the Trekker (due to the AltRider rack) than the size that I don't like. A 52L would make it even worse. There's definitely a point with top cases where size becomes an issue, cosmetically anyway.
I am liking the looks and mounting system of the Givi Trekker.
You mentioned it sitting high on the Altrider rack. I know the Altrider rack comes highly recommended but is there a alternative rack you would recommend for a possible lower height?
