I agree that Yamaha needs to communicate with us. We deserve real, solid information.

There was a time when I was thinking of pulling out, but that has changed. I have way too much money wrapped up in parts. :))

It looks like I will be having a back operation in May, so time is on my side. I am in for the duration also and my bike will get here when it does.. Hopefully I'll be ready for it..

Damian .... That's a good move you made there. The GS is a great bike. Keep us updated with your thoughts as you get to know the bike.

I'm not sure if it would have mattered to me, but I'm glad my dealer told me that PDP programs in the past often did not deliver on the initially stated target date. He told me it could take extra time. Consequently I never expected it to show up next month and nothing has changed. Honestly until we reach the end of May Yamaha hasn't been late on anything yet.

The wait has been long, and so too will be the years of enjoyment riding the japanese technology. But to hear this puts a knot into my gut!!!! I don't know why!!!!

I canceled my order.
I do not want to deal with all this problems and waiting times.

I just bought a 2011 BMW GS R 1200 with ASC, ESa, Heated Grips, Tire monitor pressure and luggage.

Picking up on WEd 20th. I will be riding from Chattanooga to Chicago.

Good luck everybody, I wish you the best!!!

I've been following this bike for years. They have teased me so badly, there is really nothing that would get me to change my mind. I don't really care when it gets here, but the sooner the better. In my opinion, there is not really that many options out there. I have not seen a change in driveshaft design from the competition. But maybe they have done so.

hope it was a blue that was cancelled, if so I moved up one place I guess. >:D

I have no need to cancel, I still have my Speed Triple to ride until the Tenere comes in, so I can wait as long as it takes.

That was funny!

Actually, I'm in the same boat. Have two V-Stroms to ride and they aren't going anywhere, until that S10 is parked in the "Man Cave". Honestly, I'd rather do all my waiting now, and buy the Yamaha low maintenance quality as opposed to the repeated waits, while the bike sits in the shop.
