Decided Friday the Bro n I voted that Townsville would not have our presence for the weekend! we headed off Saturday morning towards Mt Fox and up over the hill turns to good hard red gravel road, then turning right onto the lava plains rd towards the valley of lagoons after the lagoons turns into a hundred mile an hour dirt track bringing us out onto the Kennedy development rd, hooking right toward Mt Garnet where we fuelled the bikes & guts, while that was happening it started to piss rain so we ended up here for the night.
Next morning through Innot Hot Springs and up the Tully Falls rd (Very twisty & tropical rain forest) beautiful! back down to Milla Milla, South Johnston and onto Bruce Hwy (boo! what a joke our #1 hwy is) anyway back to Townsville via Ingham, home at 2pm Sunday approx. 8-900k very easy with lots of stops for thermos coffee & water breaks.... we in noooo rush!
