All,
I am in need of some new skins. Looks like I will end up with about 4k miles on the factory Tourances. I am pretty happy with the EXPs but looking for a little more miles and a little more street bias.
I am looking for 90% street, even 95% street with the balance on gravel, never off road. About 50% 2 up/1up with luggage.
Suggestions?

Unless it is really wet, about any street tire will work for you. The Pilot Road 3/4's will give you quite a long life and work extremely well on the pavement wet or dry.

Heidenau K76, I had the K60 Scouts they lasted 16k km but my riding and commute did not need the off road so much so I changed they are looking and feeling really good.

The stock battlewings (at least thats what came on mine) were excellent. I could easily drag stuff in the corners with them and I've taken them on gravel, dirt, and rocks and they did great. As far as mileage-wise. They worked great in the rain as well. Don't know how long they last as I do 50/50ish and switched to Mitas E07s

+1 for Anakee 3s. I have about 2500 miles on them so far with no signs of wear yet. Good traction on street and gravel.

Dunlop TR91's grip very well and last reasonably well. They are my tire of choice.

Wore out an Anakee III front/Anakee II rear in 9k miles. Wore out a Tourance rear in 10k miles replaced with a Tourance Next rear. The Tourance front still has 10k miles left in it.

Next rear only has a couple hundred miles on it but I like it so far. The regular Tourance and the AII were about the same to me. Good tires. AIII front, not so much.

I've been buying my tires from Revzilla for a few years now, great prices and stupid fast shipping.

I just wore out a pair of Tourance Next. I was happy with them for awhile, but the front has a really weird wear pattern that makes cornering increasingly difficult as they wear. I replaced them with the OEM Battle Wings, which I like much better overall.

I ride two 50% 0f the time and about 90% road 10% gravel. I replaced the OEM Battle Wings during the 12k miles warranty service. Rear tire still had usable tread and front tire was in good shape. Replaced them with the Battle Wings.

Re: Tires - what are you using for 90% street/ 10% "off road"

I had loved the original Tourance tires... used a lot of them on my high mile 2012. They were 80/20%. Got my 2014ES and it came with the Stones... I never liked them in the corners. Went back to the original Tourance tires... but they were not the same. Didn't get the miles I had before. Turns out they are now made in China. Damn that sucks!
I have a set of Anakee III's waiting to put on before my ride to Texas for MSTA' Hill Country Rally. We will see. The Anakee III's are listed as a 90/10% tire.

I just installed a set of Pirelli Scorpion Trails on my 2012 S-10. I've only put on a couple hundred miles so far but they seem to corner & grap the road well. Haven't tried them off-road yet.

I'm back to the stock Bridgestones. Wife has the Anakee III's. I've ridden both. Both good choices, however, I feel I can push the Bridgestones a bit farther.
