Hello folks! Just got a used 2012 Super T in Louisville and it needs a new rear tire. Anyone in Louisville care to share their opinions of place to go to have the work done? I have been using Commonwealth for my WeeStrom and they were fine.

Thanks!

I'm cheap (former KLR owner) and poor so I take off my wheels and take them up to Cyclegear. Since I bought my tires there it costs $20 or so, maybe $30 if you didn't get them there.

Give Chad (mgr.) or Greg a call. Pretty quick if you go early on a weekday too.

Man, what a coincidence, I was going ask this very question.

I am heading out for a trip next weekend and I thought about going to Yamaha of Louisville since it would be on the way. I just need a rear tire put on.

Anyone have any opinions on this place? Anyone have any service performed there?

Send a PM to keeponriding. Think he said they charged $150 to mount his new tires. Yikes!

Well, hell, I guess I shoulda checked back. I called Yam of Louisville and talked to Inga and she said they will install any tire you bring in for $75. Since Motorcycle Superstore is here in Louisville and has good tire prices I got a straight Tourance and had Inga's guys put it on. Motorcycle SS ships free and it will arrive the day after you buy if you live in Louisville thanks to UPS. Bought Monday, arrived Tuesday (for $169 +tax), installed Friday...

Also bought a new key blank for the ST. $14!!! damn!

IIRC R&D cycles quoted me $30 per tire, but I'd take Bob up on his offer. He knows our bike and has all the tools to do the job right. He's the man. ::008::
