If this is in the wrong forum, please move.

I live in South Brunswick, NJ. Basically in the middle of the state. Are there any Tenere owners, that have done their own throttle body synch, willing to do mine? I will gladly ride within a 200 mile radius, pay whatever reasonable dollar amount and bring a beverage of choice?

Reason for asking, I'm not comfortable bringing the motorcycle to a shop (a few Yamaha shops in fact) that look like I have 3 heads when I tell them I have Super Tenere. That's a red flag for me. The other reason is that I wouldn't want to tell a 'professional mechanic' to turn the right screw all the way in, then 3/4 turn out, then synch the other side.

I know I sound a little crazy and I know this bike isn't a temperamental (insert temperamental motorcycle here) motorcycle but I've even contemplated reaching out to Tabasco in Texas to do my valve service. Because, I don't want my motorcycle to be a 'let's see if I can do this' type of job.

Thank you to anyone in advance. Please PM if you'd be interested in doing the throttle bodies.

Not hard to fabricate your own cheap manometer. I assume you have a service manual. I leave pig tails in place to make it easier after the first time.

If/when you have valves adjusted, it needs to be done again. I can tell when mine needs to be synched when it starts stumbling at stoplights
