Rained all day yesterday, so was expecting a total goosh fest out there today. Was much more dry that anticipated. Still found a few areas.

How would you like to live on this road? There was a house at the bottom and top of this hill.

But overall not too bad.

Learned a little about target fixation today. Noticed two cars pulled over up a ahead. I was clearly paying more attention to the cars and the mud near their vehicles. As I passed I nodded my head to the guys standing by their cars. Focused ahead and saw this about 30 yards ahead.

I felt a little dumb missing the giant tree laying across the road, but at least I saw it before hitting it. ::)

Apparently I got ahead of myself predicting the 2015 meltdown had begun. It was a lovely 33 degrees F on top of the mountain this morning when I took this shot. Is spring ever coming?

Okay...I may be whining just a little too much. It was 65 degrees later in the day.

I hear you. Roads were an insane mess yesterday. Probably the most sand/gravel I've ever seen out there. Guess that's what you get when it's 5 inches of snow one day, then 65 degrees the next. Nothing gets pushed off to the sides and the entire road is covered in whatever they put down.

Jon, are you coming to Romney this year? I don't recall seeing you chime in.

I'd like to, too much stuff going on with the kid in school, not to mention the riding budget is a little low! It'll be a last minute decision for me this year, some how I think that's the weekend he needs to be picked up and although his mom is SUPPOSED to do this trip you know how that goes!

Hey Nittany college money is the "big melt down". But what better thing to spend your money on than getting your kids educated. I hope y'all see some spring soon.

Is your buddy that came to Colorado on the GS doing alright? He sure could ride.

Hey Grip! Dave's doing fine, still faster than s%^t! He's doing the MotoGiro this spring with another bud of mine on a "64 Honda 250. My son is doing very well, he's at Culinary Institute of America in NY. He will be doing his externship this summer at one of the top restaurants in Manhattan. Proud papa here!

Congrats, sounds like he's doing well.

Hope you can make it, but if not, there will be more chances to catch up in the future.

Grip,I think Franklin's going to be a good fit, especially if some people can let go of the past and move on. Back to our originally scheduled program.
Dirt, we'll cross paths again one of these days!
