Yeah, it might be cooler in Sept. As long as it isn't the weekend of Sept 15, 16, as I am hosting an AHRMA national vintage race at our local off road club that weekend.

Speaking of weekends, we might consider an overnight event. It is a day ride for those of us in the St Louis area, but could be quite a ride for others, jsut to get to Bixby. In addition, I think folks would enjoy taking a full day ride of those great Ozark roads. As part of the HSTA event I hosted for years, I have several variations of a great 300 mile loop of the best roads in the area.

Weekend of September 8 or 22 works, love the idea of making it an overnight. It's a bit of a ride from Maryland.

I would not be able to attend if you decide on mid September on. That will interfere with cotton season ($ ::012:: $) for me. If it's earlier, or after Thanksgiving-ish, I'd be likely to attend. If I'm not able to get to this one, there surely will be another time.... :)

Fred Did you make it out to Colorado?
I will be out on this ride
Eric getting married.
Yes, made it to CO with my son, after meeting up with him in MS. Did 4500 miles and had a great time. On our departure day from CO, we went from 39 degrees to 110.

What dates would work for you? I am ok with any but the weekend of Sept 15th.

Most years we had Rosener's in Park Hills as our HQ. Moved to Farmington's Tradition Inn during a couple years when Rosener's was rebuilding one of their buildings, then moved the rally HQ back to Rosener's after that. Decent place with great rates. I'll call them tomorrow and see if we can get a group rate.

As far as a route, I have several variations of a great route that is about 300 miles and goes as far west as Eminence and as far south as Van Buren. If you let me know the next time you plan to ride up to Niehaus Cycles, we can get together and compare notes on a route.

Hey, come on up, Jim. It would be good to see you again and show you some of our favorite Ozark roads.
