Get it all the time here CW. Old tyres, unchecked tyres, highway speeds, delam for the next rider that is not expecting the expected....It didn't just happen.
The number of torn/cracked points in the carcass and clean tear at the mold line indicate low pressure, which creates heat. Just add wear and somebody who rides on while ignoring the cracks to get that kind of delamination.
