For the folks that are into this type of engineering-
This is a carbon fiber rim with a titanium 3D printed “face”. Extraordinary light, supposedly available on the new McLaren. If your not also aware, you should go check out the Bugatti 3D printed brake caliper. Absolutely amazing !
These wheels have little to do with ‘style’ and everything to do with weight. = performance

It is a quality tool. I asked the area Snap-On rep and he knew nothing about it. Just guessing but I'd say its at least 30 maybe 40 years old.

So that tool has to be old. The article above was from 2009. Apparently, Snap-off was made by Wilde Tools, that's been around since the '20s.

I wish I would have taken a picture of this, but you never have a camera when you need it.

DM and I were about 6 cars back in the left turn lane waiting at a red light. Panhandler on the median to our left holding the usual cardboard/sharpie hand scrawled sign. It's cold and he's so covered in a scarf that I was not even sure where his eyes were as he slowly walks the line in our direction. For some reason, I actually read his sign, I'll paraphrase:

My family was killed by a shark
I am collecting money for a boat,
fuel, diving suit, scuba gear,
harpoon gun, hand gun,
...

I didn't catch the rest as the light turned green and we had to move on. I was cracking up as we passed. Not sure if he saw it...his eyes were hidden. If traffic hadn't sucked so bad I probably would have been up for a second round in the left turn late.
